Terms of Service
Version 3.0. Last updated: 25 October 2026.
These terms are the agreement between you and Xadaro. You agree to these terms when you create an account.
Who we are
Xadaro is operated by GAMIRIA VENTURES LTD (company number 17543071), a limited company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. When these terms say “we”, “us” or “Xadaro”, they mean that company. You can reach us through the contact form.
You can also email us at hello@xadaro.com.
Who can use Xadaro
You must be 18 or over. Xadaro is for people working on their own job applications. You may use it to work on your own CV, your own cover letters and your own interview preparation, and not on anyone else’s.
Employers, recruiters, recruitment agencies and staffing businesses may not use Xadaro to assess, screen, rank or shortlist candidates. Careers services, coaches and consultants may not use one account to work on other people’s applications. Xadaro is built to help a person present their own experience, and the scores and reviews it produces are shown only to the account holder and never to an employer.
Xadaro is not available everywhere. You may not use it from a country or territory covered by UK sanctions, and we cannot provide it where the AI services Xadaro runs on are not available. Neither restriction is ours to waive.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. Keep your email address current: it is how we reach you about your account, and some of the notices in these terms are given by email.
One account is for one person. Do not share it, and do not create additional accounts to get around the free plan’s limits.
What we provide, and what we do not promise
We will provide Xadaro with reasonable care and skill. Features may change, and some may be removed. If a change materially reduces what your plan does during a period you have paid for, the section on refunds below applies.
We do not promise that Xadaro will be available without interruption or free of faults, and we do not promise that anything it generates is accurate. Xadaro should not be your only copy of your CV or your application data. Keep your own.
We do not promise that using Xadaro will get you a job. We do not guarantee an interview, an offer, a response from an employer, or any particular result from an application. We make no claim about how any employer, recruiter or applicant tracking system will read, score or treat a document you create here. Nothing in Xadaro is careers advice, legal advice, employment advice or immigration advice.
None of this affects the rights the law gives you as a consumer, which are set out under Our responsibility to you below.
Paid plans and billing
Xadaro has a free plan and one paid plan, Pro. Pro costs £12 / month or £120 / year. Includes any VAT or sales tax. What each plan includes is set out on the pricing page.
Pro is sold through Link, Stripe’s selling company, and Link is the seller of record. You buy Pro from Link, not from us: it takes your payment on its checkout page, collects any VAT or sales tax, sends your receipts and invoices, and applies any cooling-off rules that apply to your purchase. The refund promises in these terms are ours, and they sit alongside those rights.
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or annual, until you cancel it. The price is the one you signed up on, unless we have emailed you about a price rise, as the section “If we change the price” describes. If a renewal payment fails, Pro access stops until the payment goes through. Nothing is deleted while it is stopped: your work stays in your account, and the free plan’s limits apply until the payment clears.
You can cancel at any time. In Settings, open Plan and Usage, then choose Manage Billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end the period you have already paid for: Pro stays on until that period ends, and the free limits apply after it.
Cancelling in your first 14 days
If you cancel within 14 days of first subscribing, we refund what you paid in full, without giving a reason. Pro switches on as soon as you pay, and we do not deduct anything for the days you used it. Tell us through the contact form or at hello@xadaro.com. Telling us before the 14 days are up is enough, even if it reaches us afterwards. We make the refund within 14 days of you telling us, to the payment method you paid with.
This promise is ours and applies to everyone. It sits alongside the ordinary cancellation described above, and it does not replace any stronger right the law where you live gives you.
Refunds
If a period you have paid for ends early, or if what your plan includes is materially reduced during it, we refund the part you have not used. That covers all of these: we cut something Pro included, we suspend or close your account for a reason that was not your breach of these terms, or we change these terms in a way that materially affects your rights and you close your account rather than accept the change. Tell us through the contact form or at hello@xadaro.com.
Deleting your account for your own reasons is not one of those cases. It cancels your subscription, so you are not charged again, and the rest of the period you have already paid for is not refunded. Closing it because of a change we made is the third case above. If you are still inside your first 14 days, the cancellation right above applies instead and you get the whole payment back.
Closing an account for fraud or payment abuse is the exception. If we close yours for that reason, we do not refund, and we will tell you that is why.
Outside those cases we do not refund time you have already been billed for as a matter of course. If you were charged for something you did not intend, contact us and we will look at it. Nothing here removes a refund or cancellation right the law where you live gives you.
If we change the price
If we raise what a plan costs, we email the address on your account 30 days before the change, in time for you to cancel first if you would rather not pay it. The change takes effect at a renewal and never inside a period you have already paid for.
When a subscription ends
Ending a subscription deletes nothing. Your CVs, cover letters, applications, and interview prep stay in your account and stay readable. What comes back are the free plan’s limits. Nothing you already have is removed, but the limits decide what you can add next and how many PDF exports you can make in a month, including exports of work you created while you were on Pro.
The free plan’s allowances come in two kinds. Saved CVs and saved themes are caps on how many you keep at once, counted over what is in your account right now: over one of those caps you keep everything you have, and you can save a new one once you are back under the cap. The rest are counted by the calendar month, and they are new applications, PDF exports, CV reviews, fix drafts, writing suggestions, requirement rescores, typed interview answers, and spoken interview answers. Once a month’s allowance is spent it comes back with the next month, and deleting old work does not free it up sooner.
Separately from those allowances, AI features are rate limited over short windows on both plans, so a long run of requests can be asked to wait even while you still have an allowance left. The pricing page carries the current number for each of the allowances above.
Your content
You own what you put into Xadaro and what you make with it: your CVs, cover letters, saved postings, profile details, application notes, and any interview answers you type or record. Using Xadaro does not change that.
To run the features you ask for, we need your permission to handle that content. You give us a licence to store, copy, display, adapt and process it, and to pass it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy who do parts of the work for us, including the AI provider that produces the drafting and the transcription. The licence is limited to operating Xadaro for you, it lasts as long as we hold the content under the retention periods in the Privacy Policy, and it ends when the content is deleted. We do not use your content to advertise, we do not sell it, and we do not train models on it.
Two features start without you pressing anything. The first time we finish reading a CV you upload, we run a CV review on it so there is something to act on. Later uploads do not trigger one. And once you save a job search, we score new listings for you as they arrive.
Sensitive details in your CV
A CV can mention things the law treats as a protected category: a health condition or a disability, a faith-based employer or a religious role, a trade union role, a political or campaigning role, something that indicates your ethnic background, your citizenship or immigration status. We never ask for it and no feature needs it. We ask for your explicit permission to handle it separately, with an unticked box the first time you upload a CV or start building one. That permission is not part of agreeing to these terms, and it cannot be. You can withdraw it by editing the detail out of your CV, deleting that CV, or deleting your account. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.
Do not put criminal record information in a CV you upload here, including DBS certificate numbers: that category has its own rules and Xadaro is not set up for it.
Interview recordings
Recording a spoken answer is optional, one answer at a time, and never automatic. If you record one, the audio goes to the AI provider named in our Privacy Policy to be turned into text, and we keep the audio for the period set out there and then delete it. The transcript and the scores stay, so your prep is still usable once the recording is gone.
We do not create a voiceprint and we do not use your voice to identify you. Record only your own voice: do not record anyone else, and do not upload a recording of a real interview or of another person.
What the AI does, and what you own
Xadaro uses third-party large language models across most of the product: reading and structuring an uploaded CV, tailoring it to a posting, drafting cover letters, reviewing a CV and suggesting fixes, matching your experience to a posting’s requirements, suggesting wording while you write, preparing interview material, and transcribing and scoring spoken answers.
Generated text can be wrong. It can state something you never did, overstate something you did, or phrase your experience in a way that does not match your situation. We run automatic checks against your own profile data on some of these surfaces to catch invented detail, and those checks do not cover every surface and do not catch everything. Read every suggestion before you use it. What you send to an employer is yours, and you are responsible for it being true. We do not claim authorship of what the AI drafts for you, and we do not claim ownership of the documents you produce.
Using Xadaro properly
When you enter something into Xadaro, you are telling us it is true, it is about you, and it is yours to use. We do not verify any of it and we cannot. That means the honesty of a CV you build here is yours to stand behind, not ours.
Do not use Xadaro to:
- misrepresent your identity, qualifications, employment history, or anything else about yourself to an employer;
- work on another person’s application, or to assess, screen or rank anyone other than yourself;
- upload content that infringes someone else’s rights, is unlawful, or contains malware;
- access the service by automated means, scrape it, or try to get around its rate limits or plan allowances, including by creating extra accounts;
- resell Xadaro, or provide it as a service to other people;
- use the AI features to deceive anyone about who you are or what you have done.
If you break these rules we may suspend or close your account. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
Our intellectual property
Xadaro itself is ours: the software, the design, the CV templates and their layouts, and the Xadaro name and logo. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you, and you may not copy, adapt or redistribute it. The CVs, cover letters and other documents you produce and export are yours to use however you like, including for job applications, for as long as you like, with no restriction from us and no fee. That stays true after your subscription or your account ends.
If you send us an idea or a suggestion for improving Xadaro, we can use it without owing you anything for it. This only covers ideas you volunteer about our product.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and equivalent laws where you live, including that digital content and services must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. Nothing here affects those rights, and if any sentence below appears to conflict with them, they win.
Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of a job, an offer, an interview, earnings, an opportunity, or reputation, or for any loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you started using Xadaro. We cannot control or predict what an employer decides.
Subject to the first paragraph of this section, our total liability to you for everything connected to Xadaro is limited to the greater of what you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim arose, or £100.
If you want to bring a claim, tell us within 12 months of becoming aware of what it is about, so that we have a fair chance to look into it while the facts are still available.
Your responsibility to us
If someone brings a claim against us because of something you did that broke these terms, such as content you uploaded that was not yours to use, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and any award that results. We will tell you about the claim promptly, we will not settle it without asking you, and you can take part in defending it. This does not apply to anything that was our fault.
Ending your account
You may delete your account at any time. In Settings, choose Delete Account. Deleting it closes the account for good. If you have a subscription, deleting the account cancels it, so you are not charged again, and the rest of the period you have already paid for is not refunded unless one of the cases under Refunds above applies. What happens to your data is set out in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, with notice where it is reasonable to give it. We may also stop offering Xadaro altogether, in which case we will give you reasonable notice, a chance to export your work, and a refund of anything you have paid for a period you will not get.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for a reason such as a change in the law, a change in how Xadaro works, or a new feature that needs its own rules. This page always shows the current version and the date it was published. We email the address on your account 30 days before a material change takes effect, and say what is changing.
We will not treat carrying on using Xadaro as agreement to a material change on its own. If you do not want to be bound by a new version, you can close your account, and if you are part way through a period you have paid for, we refund the part you have not used.
Which law applies, and where you can bring a claim
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. That jurisdiction is not exclusive.
If you are a consumer living somewhere else, this does not take anything away from you. You keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim against us in the courts there. We only bring claims against a consumer in the courts of the country they live in.
The rest
These terms, together with what the pricing page says about your plan, are the whole agreement. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy are not part of it: they explain how we handle data. This does not affect any liability we have for something we told you that was not true.
If a court decides any part of these terms goes further than it is allowed to, that part applies as far as it lawfully can, and if it cannot apply at all it is removed and the rest still stands. If we do not enforce something straight away, we can still enforce it later.
You may not transfer your account or your rights under these terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours if our business is sold or reorganised, provided your rights are not reduced by it. Nobody other than you and us can enforce these terms.
We send notices to the email address on your account, so keep it current. You can send notices to us through the contact form or at hello@xadaro.com. The sections on your content licence, our intellectual property, our responsibility to you, your responsibility to us, and which law applies carry on after your account ends.
Contact
For questions about these terms, or to cancel, object, or complain, email hello@xadaro.com or use the contact form. A reply to the contact form goes to the email address you give us there.
